Our Staff
Steven Wong, Founder and President
Steven is a long-time member of the Singapore electronics community. He moved from Taiwan in 1979 to attend the Singapore Institute of Technology studying electronic engineering. After graduation, he began work as a local sales engineer. After 8 years, he discovered how poorly the local manufacturing base was being served and began NuStep Components in 2014 to better serve the community. In January, NuStep Components celebrated its 5th year outlasting many companies who have come and left. The key to NuStep's success can be found in its strong relationships with its customers, suppliers and its long-time team members.
Jane Chan, Sales
Since joining the company in 2016, Jane has been an integral part of the NuStep team. Her passion is to help customers solve problems has resulted in many successful new ideas saving her customers millions of dollars. Jane was originally from Taiwan but relocated to Singapore to join the NuStep team.
Tonny Chow, Applications Engineer Tonny is a seasoned engineering professional with over 25 years of experience. Starting as an electronics technician for a large OEM, Tonny went to school at night and went on to earn his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. He then worked for large EMS companies like Flextronics where he was a valued member of the NPI team. He has passion to help customers solve complex applications problems and is a valued member of the NuStep team.
